You touched on exactly why I like Killorn and his contract. The guy will put up oh... 40-50 points per year... he'll play steady hockey; defends well, shows some grit.

I've always viewed him more of a playoff atmosphere type of guy- and he's been great in the past in the post-season. Now that he has the long term deal, lets see if he can keep that two-way post season play at the level it has been in the past.

(I can already predict the folks who will trash this post- love you guys too )

well you need to get to the post season to be a post season player, and if you can't help us get there with that contract then it's not ideal

he has been good the past month or two. he is slow, but he's been making better decisions. That's the thing I hate most about killorn, he makes poor decisions half of the time, but lately not so bad

I am not routing against the guy, i am routing for him obviously. I just wish he could perform at his highest level at least 80% of the time

He's odd that way. Seems to be disinterested when we're totally controlling a game, makes sloppy decisions and skates lackadaisically... then, if we're down... he turns on.

That said, we're in the enviable position of having guys like Stammer, Kuch, Point, Johnny and now Miller (!) carry the mail. Also... Gourde. Knew he'd be a decent player but... dayum.

Hall is very scary and playing some of the best hockey of his career. I expect whenever he jumps over the boards that Hedman and Point will also be jumping over.

I'm really hoping we see an appearance of "Playoff Johnson" and "Playoff Killorn."

That is exactly what you guys need to do if you are to beat my Devs. We really are a one trick pony at the moment. One good D line, and Hall/Hisch are insane. After that we severely lack. Don't get me wrong, this team is fast, but our only chance of beating your stacked team rely's heavily on palmeiri scoring on that second unit. You guys have us in depth up front, Defense in every aspect, and goaltending.

(frank) ‘em.
The Bolts offense is incredible but they
Only allowed 8 fewer goals on the season. Half their D is broken down ex Rangers.

Yes they should win the series and maybe they will easily, but let it play out. Thank god hockey players aren’t as defeatist as you sound.

I am saying Devils in 7

I know TB fans, you have reason to bash me. I think NJ should not be taken lightly and Vasalevsky's play has really concerned me.

If he can turn that around and stand on his head like he did most of the season TB should take it....however I do not think that will happen.

Speed.

Both teams have it, but as I watched NJ against my Leafs this year I think NJ may be the fastest and hardest working team in the playoffs.

Plant the seed of doubt...win that first game and I think you guys will really take off

I am not taking the Devils lightly at all but it won't take Vasy standing on his head to win this series, he just needs to be steady. I don't see how the Devil's can win the 5 on 5 battle over seven games. The Lightning have so much more secondary scoring and depth that it should lead to victory. Will be a great series to watch.

Surprisingly I could say the same thing for the Leafs against the Bruins, its their secondary scoring and like you said about Vasy - Anderson playing a little above his normal level and the Leafs could take out Boston.
